Congratulations Haven Lamothe
The First-Ever Miss Empowerverse!
We are thrilled to announce Haven Lamothe as the inaugural winner of the 2023 Miss Empowerverse competition!
Haven, a 25-year-old from Ottawa, is a dedicated Behavior Therapist and Program Supervisor for residential youth care. She advocates for children with trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other exceptionalities, providing therapy and support to families. Haven is also pursuing her PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Celebrating 10 years in pageantry, Haven has raised over $50,000 for various charities. She dreams of representing Canada on the international stage to further her advocacy efforts.
We are proud of Haven Lamothe and excited to see her inspire and lead as the first Miss Empowerverse!

Personal Statement/Bio (40%)
This is the delegates opportunity to showcase who you are beyond the crown. Delegates will submit a headshot, written bio and a 30 second "elevator pitch" of themselves.

Conduct (15%)
Even in a virtual space, how you interact matters. Conduct is observed throughout the competition timeline, including social media engagement.

Glamour Look
(20%)
This is the delegates opportunity to present themselves with confidence and poise in a formal look of their choosing. Unlike traditional pageants we do not require you to wear a gown, we want to see what suits your personality...

Fun Fashion
(20%)
This is the delegates opportunity to get creative! Fun Fashion is all about bold colour's, playful outfits and expressing individuality.

People Choice (5%)
Determined by voting and social media. The Empowerverse platform was designed with the mission of "Inspire to Inspire," we are looking for a delegate who wants to influence others to be the best version of themselves
Optional Competitions
Optional Competitions do not affect the main score, this gives our delegates the opportunity to showcase more of their individuality and have the option to win side awards/sashes for these categories

Talent: Showcase what makes you unique! The Talent Award celebrates creativity, presentation skills, emotional connection and overall execution. Delegates may submit a video (up to 2 minutes) highlighting their chosen talent
Entrepreneurship: The Entrepreneur award recognizes delegates building businesses, brands, creative projects and/or initiatives. Delegates submit a short write up (up to 300 words) and a 1 minute video pitch explaining their venture, its purpose, and its impact.
Ambassador Award: The Ambassador Award honors the delegate who secures the most ad sales for the Miss Empowerverse program book and showcases professionalism and promotional skills. Delegates must also submit a brief reflection (up to 200 words) explaining how they promoted Empowerverse within their network.
Fitness: The Fitness Award celebrates dedication to personal wellness, strength, and confidence. Delegates will submit a 1 minute fitness video and a photo showcase demonstrating an active lifestyle — whether that’s through sports, workouts, yoga, dance, or personal fitness goals. The focus is on celebrating healthy living, strength, and self-confidence, not body type.
Photogenic: The Photogenic Award celebrates a delegate's ability to captivate through a still image. Delegates may submit up to 3 images. Professional images are allowed but not required - the focus is on natural beauty, confidence and expression.
